I specialise in web development, with a focus on cross-platform compatibility and attention to detail.
Building websites has been my hobby since I was 10 years old. I pride myself on having gained an advanced knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 throughout my life.
I love the internet, but I know it can be better. I admit that the web can and should become more accessible in a wider variety of contexts. It should also do so without sacrificing user privacy. As a result, I am always eager to develop my competencies into broader areas of the development stack whilst staying true to these values.

Frontend Developer. November 2017 – February 2018
As lead frontend developer, I ensured their websites looked and performed exceptionally.
I used PHP (WordPress), Blade (Shopify), SASS/CSS3 & JS/jQuery to instigate retina-ready, responsive, pixel-perfect websites. As a team, we worked in an agile environment on a variety of projects for both B2C and B2B businesses.
Many of their clients preferred to use the WordPress or Shopify systems, so much of my work was in building around those alongside our backend developer. I was also responsible for working with their design team to create pixel-perfect websites from Photoshop/Sketch files. As a result, I focused a lot of energy into cross-browser and device support, ensuring attention to detail in my projects.
At Drew, I worked on an extensive re-work of the agencies own website, as well as customer-facing sites for Drugsline, Emmy London & STL Partners.
“Kerri is very thorough, quick to find issues when they arise and was great at communicating about the status of each project he was working on.”
Emily Jackson (Project Manager at Drew London).
Web Developer. June 2016 – November 2017
In my work, I made use of the Laravel PHP framework with an MVC approach. I gave particular focus to the frontend, using SASS CSS, HTML5 and VueJS to design responsive, dynamic websites. In this role, I learned to use a test-driven approach to ensure my code was readable, DRY and of great quality. I used GIT version control to ensure our team was always kept up to date.
My work often saw me create client specific implementations of Opia’s core product. I also helped to develop new ideas from concept to release as part of ongoing product development.
My most recent build of note at Opia was for Roli Ltd. With an expected user-base in the millions, I endeavored to ensure that the frontend design reached an impeccable standard.
“Kerri is a very talented developer with a wide breadth of skills across the entire stack, including PHP, MySQL and front end.
He has all the traits that I look for in a developer, such as attention to detail and the ability to learn new concepts quickly.
He is also a very nice chap and would be a credit to any company he worked for.”
Andy Tait (Head of Development at Opia Ltd).
“I have rarely met a developer with the motivation and acumen of Kerri. As well as his professional ability, he is genuinely one of the nicest people I have had the pleasure to work with during my entire career.
I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that whoever is lucky enough to see the talent in this man will be completely satisfied with their choice.”
Nathan King (Backend Developer at Opia Ltd).
“I was very impressed on how quickly Kerri picked up on new technologies and if in doubt, asked relevant questions to understand the technology or concept being used. Kerri’s attention to detail is second to none, making sure that every aspect of the promotional sites we make are perfect.”
Nathan Dunn (Developer at Opia Ltd).
