I’ve recently moved back to my hometown of Brighton, England. I spent most of my life here growing up and it is good to be back and closer to my family.

I’m looking into buying a DSLR camera but don’t know very much about them - do you have any recommendations? please let me know.

I’ve been researching men’s issues, I’m quite interested in learning more and having more nuanced discussions about the challenges men face in society today. In particular, I’ve been reading Peter Lloyd’s “Stand by Your Manhood: An Essential Guide for Modern Men.”

I’m also on my fourth read-through now of Jordan Peterson’s “Twelve Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos.” His recent talk with Eric Weinstein on David Rubin’s show was fantastic and well worth catching up on.

I recently got to play Firewatch, which was a short but fascinating game. It plays sort of like a ‘choose-your-own-adventure’ mystery taking place over the course of one long summer. The art-style is gorgeous and very reminiscent of classic American illustrations with bright colours and, almost ‘cell-shaded’ textures. I interpreted it to be a game about how we deal with our problems and how running away is rarely the solution. Facing up to our problems can be challenging and uncomfortable, it can be very tempted to want to put things off until later - but it won’t do you any favors in the long run.
